Dallas City Code sets limits on the amount an individual or political committee may contribute to a city council candidate. An individual may contribute up to $1,000 in support of a single-member district candidate. A political committee (also referred to as “political action committee” or “PAC”) may contribute up to $2,500 to a single-member district candidate.
